Rosen Method Open House and Introductory Workshop

September 24: Rosen Method Open House

The Open House is an opportunity for newcomers to talk to practitioners and students. Join Rosen Method: the Berkeley Center for this unique opportunity. Schedule a bodywork session at 1:00 or 2:45 p.m., enjoy a conversation on How an Education in Rosen Method will Enrich Your Life at 2:00 p.m. with Director of Training Gloria Hessellund and participate in a Rosen Movement class at 3:45 p.m. Must be paid in advance to hold a space.

September 13: Marion Rosen on Women and Aging

Marion Rosen, Sara Webb and Mara Keller would like to invite a small circle of women to MarionÕs home for conversations about women and aging. In this relatively intimate setting we will talk about what aging means for us and what the best ways are to handle it. In addition to conversations the afternoon gathering will devote time to Rosen touch with hands-on work on the neck and shoulders. Tuition $135 ($120 if registered by September 5).

Join Rosen teachers, Gloria Hessellund and Karen Anderson, RN, for an experiential introduction to Rosen Method. CE Approved for 5 contact hours. Explore the body-mind link through lectures, demonstrations, movement and hands-on work.

October 5, 2011 Weekly Rosen Method Bodywork Training
Wednesday Evenings through May 16, 2012, 4 - 9:30 pm and a weekend in January 28-29, 2012, 10 am - 4 pm

Tuition $2,950 (or 8 monthly installments of $340. Deposit $250.)

This course will use the power of touch, words and awareness to discover the body's wisdom. Open to participants interested in expanding their self-awareness and increasing their knowledge of the body-mind connection for professional development.

Courses listed above are approved for continuing education credits (CEUs) by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (Provider #025767-00), the California Board of Registered Nursing (Provider #5763) and the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (Provider #1267). Registration only guaranteed with deposit. Unless otherwise stated, all events are held at the Berkeley Center.

October 2011 Weekly Rosen Method Movement Teacher Training Tuesday Evenings through May 2011 and a weekend in January 2012, 10 am - 4 pm

Tuition: $2,950 (or 8 monthly installments of $340. Deposit $250)

This weekly training course offers participants the opportunity to explore and learn new movement patterns. The teachers combine theory with demonstrations and practice teaching in a safe, supportive learning environment.
